@GodDidJesusInTheButt You can get if you don't have a good job, money from the social services, at least here in the Netherlands, if you sit in a sickness or volunteer work, you get money from the social services, so you can easily care for 2 children in a month. The social services knows in your resume that you can't get enough money or whatsoever, so they'll help you to get a fine job and they'll give you extra money, but your kid goes first, no matter what!

If you know that your child is injured and in the hospital, YOU GO TO YOUR CHILD, that's a parent instinct. A child suffers more then the father who can't get more money.
