A lovely evening of superlative music rendered by world-class musicians. Hats off to Miller Anderson who performed well after stepping in for Steve Balsano.
After tune up, there was a lengthy wait before Jon and Clark Rundell took to the stage; the orchestra were getting a restless so three of the cellists treated us to a much loved snippet of Smoke On The Water.
The switch in running order worked very well. All in all an outstanding performance.
