Ps2 slim mods

installed a comp fan with superbright blue led, and put red and green leds in the memory cards.

how did u install the fan into the ops2 or did u use an external plug

Just unsoldered the little fan an soldered the big fan to the solder points on the board

& a modded ps2 can handle the extra voltage

or will it burn out

the fan pulls a little more amperage but I just put a resistor on it so it only pulls the same amperage as the original one

there is a fan inside the ps2 slim,and there are many youtube videos of how to remove the fan,replace etc

I done the same- nearly. I soldered red to the same 8.5V point that the hdcombo (that hd for pstwo slim mod) does.
