My Eurovision Winners 1956 1969

My Personal Eurovision Winners for the years from 1956 to 1969. Mostly with videos, except with 1956 and 1964 based on picture/mp3. Then of course the usual editing, with appearing at the end the rest of my top 5 appearing on screen.

@fbirambofbi actually i love both France 69 and Portugal 69 and they're very far in my list but I don't think anyone can contest Frida's victory... in my all time list i just recently did, Portugal 69 is 40th, and my favorite Portuguese esc entry, above 67, 71, 84 and 08 (5 portuguese songs in my all time top 100)

What do you think about 96, with Lucia Moniz?

We, portuguese, consider one of the best ever, and actually it got 6th, our best position so far...

@fbirambofbi i must admit i don't like it, 96 is a great year, 3 songs from that year are in my all time top 20 : my all time favorite Ireland 96, and I also love France and Finland that year... Portugal 96 was cute and deserved more the top 5 than Croatia or Estonia did for sure, but I think many songs were underrated as well (Poland, Turkey, Slovakia, Bosnia & Herzegovina) which deserved to be higher than Portugal imo

I agree with you in some points. I also like Finland's 96 song, it was underestimated.

But also, there were some winners that I just can't understand why have they won... for example Spain 1969, I think it was just stupid that a song like that could won...

i don't like spain 69 much but i hate uk 69 much more, one of the worst esc winners ever along with the 89-90-91-92 bad songs and then 03-04-05 & 08 are not bad but not really anything i like either

I guess my problem rests with Lyz Assia. Never liked the woman. And always believed it would be extra cool to have a song titled "Messieurs les noyés de la Seine" as the first winner of ESC. Just for the fun of it. :)

i love switzerland 59 way more than "giorgio" and it's often underrated.. but "giorgio" is hell fun and wonderfuly sung and performed like no others! Netherlands is in my top 5 as well if you saw it, but i wasn't that convinced, I think she got last simply because the juries didnt want her to win again like they killed very unfairly "L'enfant que j'étais" by Lys in 1957!

Quelqes unes entre eux sont dans mon top3 aussi.

Partiqulierement: Pays-Bas 57, Suisse 59 (!), France 62, 68 et 69, Danemark 63, Allemagne 64, Luxemburg 65.

Mais, personellement, je deteste Suisse 58 et j'ai jamais compris comment elle a pu terminer devant l'Italie (ou bien comment les Pays-Bas sont restes derniers cette annee ). Giorgio restera pour moi la premiere "joke"-entry du concours. :P
