is there really any point to those purge valves? And as for the engine. There's a guy here in the uk does turn key v8 conversions on them. If you wanna V8 car buy a Vette or a Monaro or whatever. RX7s are perfect the way they are with rotary power.

@jamesthq well if the previous owned didn't do a recent re-build do that and then just to keep it plain and simple search how to take care of a rotary there are some pretty good vids goodluck

@haro254 ok Im looking at getting a RX7 and doing a custom project on it inspired by the Japanese street racing guys from yesteryear.  As someone who knows a lot about piston engines what would you say I should do when I buy a decent 2nd hand rx7 to tune up?

@g0ferboy yh it's unreliable if you don't know how to take care of a rotary engine....i know people who had an rx-7 for years and never gave them any engine problems,if you take care of it properly it's more reliable then a regular piston engine

LOL 0:56 sounds like he ran out of "NOS". and whats up with all the go fast stickers. does he need to be constantly reminded what he paid someone to put on his car? Try a reciept, its smaller, you can save it in a folder, and doesn't look rediculous.
