@zerocker45 Traditionally of course Bonsai is a Chinese art thou and later adapted by the Japanese. Two very different peoples but with a very common ancestry. Well said however. Ignorance means everyone thinks there is no difference between Vietnamese or Japanese when it could not be further from the truth. A shame because there are so many varied cultural differences that people are missing out on. A boring life if you ask me!!

@Sk8club08 I read it's best to put it by a window sill to the south, because that's the direction the sun is, and it'll get the most light. East and west are second best, but don't put it by a window to the north, or else you'll have to get extra lights. Also, it wouldn't hurt to put like a try with gravel and water under it to help keep it humid around the bonsai.
