Songs like this were the very reason I bunked off school...just to listen to them in my own little world and they still manage to give me that warm feeling today just as they did back in the 60s ...classic song, a wonderful singer.

I'm looking through an enjoyable coffee table book about classic 60's album covers and there's Kathy Kirby, featured alongside the Stones, Lulu, the Zombies, Them with Van Morrison, and others on the "England's Greatest Hitmakers" cover. Kathy Kirby?? Who was she?? I search her on YouTube and presto! A nice song, and a reminder that just because an artist didn't go major here in the U.S. doesn't mean they didn't have their day, back in the day. Thanks for the upload!

@kpmvc From the first time I heard her sing "Secret Love" I was in love with this gorgeous lady and Dance On was phenomenal she was so underated but what a voice and so beautiful. I always thought it was lip gloss (but not manufactured then I understand). At a WI meeting recently I was told that Kathy used Vaseline. A lovely lady who will always be remembered.
