  • Why Meatless Monday?

Because the meat industry is one of the most significant contributors to today’s most serious environmental problems and cannot continue in this pace. While the human population doubled in the last 50 years, meat production increased fivefold. Meat production is the number one cause of global warming and is polluting our air and water. On the bright side, you can help reducing this impacts by simply eating less meat while having health benefits yourself!

  • Of course everyone makes his own decisions, we try to show that not eating meat for at least one day a week (its not a lot!) is a good one.. Even if someone loves meat, he could at least try to eat bit less.. for our own sake!

    3. Around 45% of all cereals and 75% of soy are eaten by livestock

    4. It takes 10 times more land to produce animal products than vegetable products

    5. It takes more than 20,000 L of water to produce 1 kg of meat

    6. Meat consumption have been directly linked to diabetes, obesity, cancer, heart diseases and strokes.

  • @AddisonRach Thank you! When people eat one day no meat they will maybe figure out that eating less meat is totally NOT problematic or destroying the appetite! We just believe that this idea will empower people to think about it and maybe introduce more meatless days themselves! We maybe can't change the world BUT we can try to make people aware about the issue!

  • Everyone to make their own decisions, but based in honesty and intelligence and compassion, especially towards the innocent/helpless.

Veganism: I love it! For the animals forever xx

  • This is a Great Idea.Your not asking people to give up meat all together,Just asking/teaching people to be aware of the affects of there actions.Wats 1 day a week without meat to 1 person yet if millions of people take up the challenge it can make a huge difference.I love the idea, have just become a vegetarian myself and although my partner loves his meat, he's slowly becoming more open minded so I may just have to bring meatless mondays into our home ;)

  • @thijsboer1986 i like the world as is......global warming has been proven to be a hoax

  • Screw that not eating less meat........ a meal isnt a meal without it

  • @billwoods52 Goed punt billwoods.
