Managing Trustee of the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation, Uday Nabha Khemka, featured in the Opening Plenary Session: 'Balancing Growth, Sustainability, and Equity' at the Clinton Gobal Initiative (CGI) Asia 2008. Led by former U.S. President Bill Clinton and held in Hong Kong in December 2008, CGI Asia engaged a distinguished group of leaders for two days of panel discussions and interactive working sessions, each of which examined specific challenges and opportunities for action. The meeting focused on three primary areas of discussion: education, energy & climate change, and public health. As an integral part of membership, each CGI Asia participant made a Commitment to Action—a new, specific, and measurable initiative that addresses a social, economic, or environmental problem of the members choosing.
