@Wakkajakka The onboard Physx processor is basically a gts250, and it will only accelerate Physx based games and only if it allows hardware physx. It wont work in games that don't use hardware physx, there is no other way around it. Geomod 2.0 is purely cpu based for its physics and may run better on the 8800gtx than the Ati card simply because it was optimized for Nvidia cards or its a "the way its meant to be played" title. And Physx is dead, Nvidia is moving on to OpenCL.

Physx may not be used in games very often, but Physx processor isn't only set up for specifically it. It processes physics of all types. It doesn't pertain to any specific engine. Certain engines like Physx it is designed for, but others like Geomod2.0 I got way better frame rates on my 8800gtx then with my HD 5750.

@Bibazavr Whaha i readed: Nvidia sucked 5870 balls. XD

ati card is klocked very hi,and nvidia cards usualy are not thet hi,try both cards to run at the same core klock, see what hepens.
-
Lol Nvidia sucked 5870's balls. + Ati is cheaper. Lol what retard a person has to be to get nvidia now ;D
-
@SoleGFXTube Then it was an awful sad thing if nVidia couldn't come up with a good enough dual-GPU card to beat a single GPU card... Whether it used DirectX 11 or not.
-
@Monoindeed so is san andreas? lol, but an ATI card can slay that
-
Remember that both crysis and far-cry are optimized for nvidia cards.

well, there are also new drivers for nvidia 256.xx drivers, that gives boost up to 30% in most games
LOL, Nvidia beat the 5870 by no more than a few FPS. 3DMark vantage is build more for Nvidia. Also ATI does not have physx. Physx is not even used in many games so it does not matter but 3Dmark still tests it. The 5870 only has one processor and the GTX 295 has two. learn a few things than post
