Which is what Clark also said. Yes, they are both right; being a POW doesn't qualify anyone to be president. Not breaking under pressure, and the majority of POWs didn't, shows character and willpower. But the GOP attack dogs can't let facts get in the way of a good smear.

Too bad McCain is NOT one of those POWs. He sold out his country by giving classified details on U.S. bombing operations in North Vietnam to the enemy.

I know,,funny thing is, McCain admitted he broke in his 2nd bio, yet the media never seem to consider this when calling him a "hero". I still won't besmirch his character over this, but boy everything since is fair game!

Will have some common sense to put out this party into pasture by denying them the keys to the house of the Americans built for the people and to serve the people.

Fault too...If we should have just Invaded Iraq(who had nothing to do with 911) and ( who never attacked the U.S.A.) well that will show them terrist. These are just a slew of example of the pathetic Repubs and the right wing freak show.

Republican party have offered nothing good to this country. They have controlled the White House far more than the Democratic Party, yet keep blaming the problems they racked up on the Democratic Party and the Liberals.

I hope that my American compatriots

The Republican Party and it's ilks knows no bounds to take credit where no credits are due. To blame all the failings from the economy, to war and everything else they could think of to the Democratic Party and the Liberals.

Economic prosperity of the 90's oh easy, well by golly it was the Republican controlled house that was responsible for that, and with the obvious guidance of St.Reagan. The recession was caused by them Librals? Terrorism, well damn Democrats were such pussies it's their...

It is so damn funny the Republican apologists asking for context? Context you asked? did you guys actually try to listen and read the context of Gen.Clark's statement about John Mccain? I would venture to say a flat out no.

Gen.Clark went out his way to praise John Mccain's heroism and he even called the guy one of his heroes!!. Lost in translation is the mere cajones of Gen.Clark stating the fucking obvious as repeated by Fred "I never served" Thompson.

As I have suspected all along Repubs.
