Isolationism is the way! We all should be speaking german or japanese right now. Then the world would be at peace. or would it?




It is hard way to stop a sword by bowing your head.

Peace can be achieved through strength and world economic interdependence!!

Im American. I have all the same pride and patriotism as any other blue blood. But it doesn't mean we explicitly have the right to police the globe. Like Persia,Rome,Greece,Britain,Ger many, and now us. Any country that acts as we do. Is destined to either be destroyed or defeated. We should take care of our own problems for a while.

To ALL OTHER COUNTRIES...FOR ALL YOU CRITICIZE AMERICA FOR, YOU TOO ARE NOT PERFECT...LOOK AROUND YOUR COUNTRY, AND ALL YOUR OWN MISTAKES!

The only problem with that is that America in general and Americans like you in particular think that America has NEVER been wrong.

And I love how most all countries in the world have adopted many of our American ways...dress, music, food, etc.  BUT YOU HATE US? GO FIGURE!

I also love how most outsiders from America, love to point out all the faults of America, yet refuse to acknowledge ALL the good America has done as well.  Like wars to help free other nations/countries when those countries BEGGED us to help, and our men and women layed down their young lives for others! Don't forget the billions of dollars we often give to help poorer nations, when no one else will step up!

woostopalypse...you mean the same native American tribes that also killed one another? And also the slaves that were sold to us, by Africans from Africa? Oh yeah...don't forget, that all races of people throughout history...even ancient Egyptians committed the same sins. I'll bet your race has too...whatever that is! ALL of mankind has sinned against one another. Doesn't make it right...JUST A FACT!

A buddy of mine from Scotland was visiting recently and this song came on the radio. He commented that it was a pretty bold and timely song. He was amazed when I told him it came out in the 80's. This whole album helped awaken me politically when I was a teenager. Jackson Browne rocks.
