My uncle was a cameraman on the film (Not Ed Adlum) and he said for some of the night shots he used a magic marker on the film to try to make it look like it was night. He has lots of good commentary when we watch the film. Including about the car--which is his, the rabbits and about the dog, where they got the props, etc. He and his cousin worked on it under pseudonyms. He has a VHS version. Much better watching it with him.

@juztaguyontube No nudity, actually, and very little graphic violence. I think this is what disappoints people when they see it; there's a lot of implied promise in the title and the trailer that the movie itself does not deliver upon. "Blood Farmers" was tame for its day (consider the fact that Herschell Gordon Lewis released "The Gore Gore Girls" that same year!), but it's a decent example of the low-budget independent horror films of the '70s.
