@BcuzJazz: Not all original 1950s US Elvis 45s were styrene jobs. RCA Victor had so much demand for Elvis singles that they subcontracted out the manufacturing of his singles to several other companies including Columbia (which was known for styrene 45 pressings well into the early 1990s).
Oh yeah, I've got some Canadian pressings I orderd from a Canadian dealer, to replace a bunch of my 1950's styrene-material USA pressings. That's very admirable that Canada kept using real vinyl for 45s when USA was going to cheap styrene. Very much appreciated, even now. The Victor 45's were single-color silver print on dark blue labels.
That's really cool! I have the last record, Hound Dog/Don't Be Cruel, that I got for free among a bunch of 60's 45's from an aunt many years ago, and it's on RCA's original white dog label! It's crackly, but plays through without skipping. Here in Canada the shaded dog label you have was only introduced during 1958.
Looks really good, but I was a bit confused at first, because at first sight it looked like the record had not been dropped and needle arm was going to miss the record. And the next one. You must have put a bunch on.
This is the coolest moment of my life, LOL! Feels like I'm in the 50s although I was born in 1986, hehe! That player is higher collectible since itz and sounds100% authentic with those original Elvis records. Those RP-190 changers are very smooth operating.
