Despite earning millions of dollars in endorsements, Wie never won a single LPGA golf tournament, never qualified for a PGA mens event, and never displayed the "greatness" that her fraudulent supporters claimed. In September of 2008, several years later, we learn she is going to basic golf school. She should be forced to return her sponsorship money. Too much of American sports, from the NBA to boxing is fueled by marketing gimmicks like her that are designed to appeal to particular ethnic groups. Yeah, im not sure of this videos true intentions, but she was marketed effectively IMO.

Wie is one of those "hit or miss" investments. Anyone in business knows that timing is everything. Sony jumped on it hoping and praying for the best.

Anna Kounikova(sp) is attractive, and even she wasnt that great of a performer. She sells, however.

In the modern world, he who sells is he who gets paid. Doesnt matter if its sports, or something like music.
