linux is very simple...simple for people whose brain hasnt turned to mush trying to shorten down everything, i love windows 7 and fedora as well, fedora is great to use when getting technical, but windows 7 is good for me to use when im at uni (college) to connect to their network, but still i prefer linux over win 7 for day to day use

@asianboyJhC yes...that is why it has so little market share. a pc should be like a tv. do you turn on your tv, tune to a different sports channel and get gibberish like "flash not installed", then have a geek from the tv repair shop yell "duh! all you have to do is sudo apt-get blah blah blah, unless you are running debian, then its blah blah". What does that mean to a 65 y.o. grandma? Nothing but confusion.

defenitely not!!! using ubuntu for 3 weeks now.. once got an idea how to use this OS, you'll never have any problems with it!
