FFXII LLDLBEBS - Pharos Part 2 / Finale Part 1

WTF? That's all I have to say about this fight. I thought Famfrit would be cake once Cid was out the way. Boy was I wrong. Because I messed up so badly and was so nervous, this match took 29 f***ing minutes. This is not easy as 1,2,3. I ran out of X potions, my 10 Elixirs and all but 1 Mega Elixir. Then again, I didn't have that many Elixirs or Mega Elixirs to begin with :P. I also ran out of money because of his @#$#@! massive HP. I am NEVER doing this challenge ever again. The amount of attempts I did just to beat three bosses in a row is too stressful. It probably required over 400,000 Gil to take down the total HP's of the bosses. Anyone who will be attempting this challenge is in for a long hell of a journey thanks to low levels, limited licenses, and the most difficult one of all -- EXTREME BATTLE SETTINGS without gambits.

Well that's it for my rant on Cid and Famfrit :P

Bahamut:
First boss, Gabranth, was easy during the first phase. With the Ensanguined Shield, and having Balthier with Haste, it was easy without suffering too much damage.

During the second Phase before Gabranth casts Renew, I could not inflict Silence or toss Reflectga Mote fast enough because of EBS mode. However, Niho+Remedy did help out with Slow and Blind. At this point, I noticed that Ensanguined Shield was not blocking his attacks at all. This is when he ignores evasion. Therefore, there was no point in having the shield on with the bad status ailments to slow me down.

Second Boss, Vayne, was the easiest boss in the whole game. All I did was kite him and inflict Blind/Slow with Niho+Remedy. Gil Toss for the win.

Third Boss, Vayne's first form, was a tough one even with Ensanguined Shield. When he started doing his magic attacks, I had Reflect on Balthier and Gabranth. After he does Tree of Sephira, he started becoming even more dangerous. He started doing some wicked combos that would sometimes cause damage to Balthier. At times I could not move because Balthier was stuck blocking his attacks. Ashe was not used for this match because she had to be in reserve and with Reverse status for the upcoming match with Undying. You will see why.

Wow, I wonder how many times Penny was killed and revived in that video...probably over 15 times xD. Vayne Novus was doing some nasty combos :O I cant wait for Undying, and, hopefully, Gilgamesh! You're the best Sheena! ^-^ 5/5+fav!

1. Yes, I believe so. If I make sure Balthier's HP is ok before Famfrit does Waterja, then I think he can take the damage. He has the best Light Armors on

2. I might continue to see how far I can go with the Hunts.

3. I don't know. If there is an easier way to do the Speedrun, then maybe. As for quitting FF12, I don't know :P
