His mother went on camping trips with elephants
and servants, in India...
and she ends up in England, in some peasant home.
Ah, the good old occupation days, eh?

The Nazis chose the Monistery because they knew the Americans wouldn't want to destroy it. I've been there, and my family toured the buildings.

As an American who has only ever watched British productions (soooooooooo much better than our own);these are delightful insights into favored actors and their families. These episodes are also enormously helpful for my own genealogical pursuits. Thanks so for posting them all!

Thanks for the upload! It's really fascinating to learn about genealogy and ancestors. I wish we had a show like that in France. As GirlInSecondLife pointed out I wish I knew who those people featured in Who Do You Think You Are? are. I mean apart from Rupert Penry-Jones and Stephen Frears, I've never heard of them. But well still interesting!

He is one of my favourite actors even though I live in Canada. I am really waiting for "Silk" to be available here to watch. This was fascinating. Programme was very well done, I thought.
