Marazion Marsh, Corwall, RSPB natural reserve. This short film was captured in November 2010. Video shows species of birds such as bitterns and egrets, their interesting behaviour during winter period etc.
The video was taken with Nikon D300s with 500mm f4 lens on the wildlife footage. The interview was taken with Panasonic P2 camera.
First film I have ever done, please give me some feedback if you like it. :)

  • Brilliant video,me and thhe reserve staff really enjoyed watching it. We would love a copy to use for local community talks if possible.

  • @jennysprigit Hi there, thanks and it would be great for you to use my video for talks.

I am away from cornwall at the moment and will be back by the 17th of January. The video file is too large sending it via email, but I can give you a copy on DVD if you wish.

    Cheers

  • Bittern walking on ice footage looks great! The others, just take under control light metering (I think). Despite that, the doc is nice as whole, so nice smooth beginning. Keep on going!

  • @mrjackypoon Hi sorry for the long gap before my response but I was away for two months and just starting to check my mail here. I would love a copy of the film on DVD. Could you send it to The RSPB, The Manor Office, Marazion TR170EF. Write you name with it so that I can credit you whenever it is shown. Thank you so much.

  • WAXWINGS! in truro about 25 waxwings have been spotted in a flock by a school boy.
