made me cry when they mention the annoucement, remembering my aunt's stories in texas when mexicans and blacks where in the single neighboorhood back in those times.. it broke the barrier, not for blacks, but for all nations

This moment meant so much to me, to my children, and to the world! I hope that 2012 will go his way again. The right could not find a Monica Lewinsky type scandal concerning Obama so they simply resort to lies and misinformation. I hope the public clearly discerns what's going on.

I'm so excited that people are still watching this and still commenting on it. It was such an exciting moment for most of us and it was SO GREAT to catch this countdown to history. I too still tear up everytime I watch it. I know several people have mentioned the screaming dude, and I'm not all together certain that wasn't ME screaming behind the camera...lol.
