I love how deeply creative these guys are, its just i'm so not used to music without such a defined rhythm, its revolutionary, it's just there's gotta be a softer way of doing that and incorporating it into modern music

@TrampledUnderTomorow ...haha... it's funny 'cause Dave King is 100x the drummer Dave Grohl ever was... This stuff is art, dude. I love Nirvana and all, but you can't say they've lost the rhythm... ALL THEY HAVE IS RHYTHM. This is amazing.

Kurt should resurrect and off these people for making a mockery of a good song, I'm a drummer and I think the experimental thing is cool but the moment you lose rhythm Ur defeating the purpose of being behind tht kit

Music is not set to only specific structures, it is an art form and subjective, and just as one can be abstract visually so too can you be audibly. I love all of the work this trio puts out. Also, appreciate the abnormality in musicians, we need the extremely different such as we need slight differences, without them we are reiterating the same thing over and over.

@marfguy1987 The fact that you would even bother to post here shows how little you know about drumming, even for a "jazz drummer." What about these drums aren't doing it? Is it the creative way he turns around the beat? Is it the metric modulation that's too simple for you? Or is it the melodic lines that he's creating? Also, use punctuation.

The awkward part is what makes it so awesome, and she keeps the time phenomenally and has great pitch (anyone who doubts that should listen to their cover of Comfortably Numb.
