@luminousbulb oppressive vibrations? Discriminating against who, the relatives of Lord Greystoke? Did you even listen to the song in its entirety? Its about escaping from an oppressive/repressive society and living a simpler life also The Kinks already had issues with using "Coca-Cola" in a song and probably didn't want to go thru the same thing by using "Tarzan" in a song.
