I have one of these from back when i was still in high school. I used to take it with me for my studies till it boweled down the isle of the bus when the driver put on the breaks to quick. I still have it but i never could find a replacement hard drive... That killed it. it still turns on but without a HD it just asks for a disk, which i don't have obviously.

good old mac, i have a powerbook 145b and 5300cs good machine, if your screen isn't burned you are lucky

When you got yours, did it come with any operating system on the HD?
And if not, where did you get the floppies?

I got almost at the same time an original MacOS 7.5 set of disks given by a friend !

Awesome man! I got one, still working but when I turn it on, he asks for a floppy. Can you help me please? Were can I find the boot disk?

that's because it needs a system. there musn't be any system installed on the HD.

you can find complete systems, like the 7.5, for free on the Apple Website.
But you'll need another Mac to build up the disks from disk images.
