John Nichols, The Nation Magazine, joins Thom Hartmann. Democrats in Wisconsin are half-way to the finish line and this is one race that Governor Walker and the state's Republicans wish they had never started. According to groups leading the way - United Wisconsin and the Recall Walker Committee - more than 270,000 signatures have already been collected in the Badger state - meaning organizers are halfway to collecting the 540,000 signatures necessary to trigger a recall election. Several polls in Wisconsin reveal growing majorities supporting the recall effort - including a poll from Wisconsin Public Radio showing those in favor of recalling Walker up nine points since the spring to 58%

Walker's failed governorship, among others like in Michigan and Ohio, was nothing more than the corporate testing of the waters to determine just how successful their purchase and take over of our governance by private, for-profit special interests at the state level has been. They cut the ribbon on their federal take over as they pulled off Bush's Bailout Bonanza for his buddies in business & banking. The United Nations is just another name for The United Corporate States of the World.

I wouldn't count the chickens yet. Walker's trolls are out in force, collecting signatures and then destroying them, putting up fake websites telling people that enough signatures have already been collected and to stop, and attacks on websites of organizations and people working to recall Walker.
Ironic that these are the folks who always spout about "freedom."
