A video presentation of my trip to Zimbabwe. Three months there and I experienced a lot of Africa and the tireless efforts of the missionaries at Karanda Mission Hospital. Karanda, translated literally, means "little slave" and the name fits the work well. Despite Zimbabwe being a war-torn country (two civil wars in the past 40 years) and having an economy that is essentially bankrupt, the work at Karanda continues to heal and minister to many people who would have no other medical care. I was privileged to help out at the hospital and school. In a place where most mission groups have been kicked out, Karanda continues to hold the esteem of the people because of their dedicated, impartial care, tireless efforts and God's grace. It was a privilege, an absolute privilege to be there. Enjoy the pictures.
Lovely people and beautiful country. The locals look very happy despite their seemingly difficult circumstances. Thanks for the video and help.
