Her voice is like velvet sex! I love how it's matured since her first recordings

Love this, I bought the cd for this and 4 others on it. Well worth the money and I can't stop listening to this one especially.

I've probably listened to this song a million times but I never tire of it!

@thierryman This isn't country music, it's bluegrass music, influenced by Plant's psychedelic-rock style. But glad you like it, nonetheless.

@dougf262 I can't say she's displaced Emmylou & Dolly yet, or quite equaled them. Even though Allison has >20 years of excellent work, & has been simply magnificent in the past 10 or so - & seems to even get better with each cd! - she's going up against true icons. Emmylou has worked 40 years, & Dolly almost 50. It will be a simple matter of few more years of Allison's fantastic work, and she'll truly be their equal.

@jum1801 I think she alread has. Read up on her on wikipedia. You wuold be impressed. I have been listening to her since the early 90s. She has made some impressive awards for her work.

I adore AK but haven't been crazy about these 2 together, I love this one tho...they blend so well.

and this is the stairway that can't be bought

Wow, incredible.
When Alison hits a note she pins it to the board. She's the archangel of country and hides her halo well. She has to be on the top flight of heaven's stairway.

I generally have a disdain for country music, but this is pretty damn good. Seriously, if you look at the stuff I normally listen to (check my favorites), this is a really high complement about this song!
