An early morning snowfall, followed by a thick fog, made for interesting landscapes as three westbound Union Pacific freights crossed Hermosa Road in Tie Siding, Wyoming. Temperatures ranged between 22 and 27 degrees (F) with minimal wind chill. The lead locomotives of each train included UP ES44AC 5323, UP C44/60CW 7111, and UP ES44AC 7351, respectively. The third unit of the grain train was Canadian Pacific AC4400CW 9632.
