What I am saying is ...A patriot understands how this country is based on freedom and recognizes when the ones in charge are taking them away..and standing up to fight to keep them..Not to try to make taking away freedom an OK thing in the name of "CHANGE"....A rose by any other name is still a rose

Then you are trying to silence opposition. You are saying I must agree that the Dems are stealing our freedoms or I am not a patriot. You are also saying I must agree with your definition of freedom or I am not patriot.

I believe in freedom and the right to do what you want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. Our constitution basically protects us and lets us do just that, but our leaders want to control everything. Our constitution is not being followed and that is a shame. They promise to uphold the constitution, when swore into office and then completely do the opposite.Everyone needs to open their eye's and make them uphold their pldge or we all fall and lose are freedoms!

The idea that the government is power hungry isn't a matter of socialism or capitalism. There are forms of capitalism and socialism that use government control and there are forms of capitalism and socialism that do not.

Heh..It's kinda funny..where i live, Obama would be considered to belong to our most conservative/right-wing party, while the real socialists ("The Social Democrats") usually have about 35-45 % of the swedish votes every election. ;D

So what ? you expect him to carry a DSA card and say " Hey Look america Im a Socialist. Socilist especially ones in the public arena are very private about it. If you think his domestic programs aren't a form of socilism then where do they come from ? They sure as hell dont come from Adam Smith,Bostiat,or any of the founding fathers. Go read the communist manifesto and you will see exactly who this man is. He thinks hes a dictator,just listen to him speak. No president should sound like that.

Obama is a socialist. Americans seem rather confused about what socialism actually is, as if they think that if you are a socialist then you must be a marxist leninist or a stalinist. Let's weigh up the facts, Obama believes in redistribution of wealth (a socialist ideal), multiculturalism (a socialist ideal), welfare dependancy (a socialist ideal). If he was a european politician he would be a member of a socialist party. Socialism is about forcing the poortobedependantonthestate,en­slavingthem.

I really like that this video points out that no matter how taxes are adjusted it is a 'redistribution of wealth' only now it's a matter of the very well off to the filthy rich getting just a teeny bit taken off and a little less tax burdens on the poor. Jesus would approve. ;D
