I just found out how to fix the pitch issues with the video, since it was a half tone sharp.
Well here it is, I hope you enjoy this magnificient artist's singing! :)

PS: The configuration messed the speaker balance up a bit, but at least Siepi's timbre is now authentic.

  • @SwingShoes Sorry, but I much prefer Sam Ramey's voice in this role.

  • Spettacolare...!!

  • R.I.P.

    Thanks Maestro!

  • Cesare Siepi never ceases to amaze me

  • ...And Chaliapin was a revolutionnary artist, with a voice not as high class than Siepi but he leaves a greater mark in history, "the greatest operatic talent" for Toscanini!

  • Agree, that's all because they all have their little heros to defend like in kindergarden...They should better get started to find themselves in art, there's too much of a long road to go anyweay to loose time with wh'os the best, who's the most, like our consumer based society and celebrity cult condition us to do so! The more one puts another on a piedestal the more he lowers himself, maybe at the end all thos guys that critics are just really passive!
