  • dude, I don't know who you guys are, but my mother(Mrs Phillips) was the mgr of the girl side of this group ( The Souletts) Marion Robinson, Pat Redmon( Butch's sister) Connie Davis & Adelene Robinson ( Marion's sister).Who also had a pretty good record@ the same time.(Find somebody knew). We really thought these two groups were really special.I can't understand why they did'nt make it..... I guess timing is everthing!!! P.S.You can find Greg Curry & Marion on facebook.

  • praying56 Im Michael M.McELroy 2nd tenor , lead, baritone

Larry castleberry did sing with us one year for the jamboree.

but was not apart of the group , and not on the recording, Anthony(butch) redmond was the other member.. To the Turb's that have passed on rest in peace!

  • excuse the error in my last message...it was Larry Castleberry...not Jimmy

  • This is Gregory Curry, Willie Lawson(deceased), Thomas "Herc" Griffith(deceased(, Michael McElroy, Jimmy Castleberry. They are from Marshall High school in Chicago. The year was 1969. Nick Toler (later known worldwide as Nick Collionne) on guitar, Paul Richmond on bass, Kenny Clark on drums and Anthony Miller on keyboards. These were the years of Mr Crooks's Jamboree at Marshall on the westside. I regularly played bass for the Turbulations. The last time I heard this song I was 16...I'm 54 now

  • Nice track. When was this recorded?
