Rev. Carl McIntire's bootleg radio from a ship off the Cape May NJ coast on Sept. 19, 1973. He was taken off 100.3 FM in Media PA so he went to bootleg radio on AM. Reception of this AM1160 recording was from the Philadelphia suburbs of PA. The stations antenna ground was bad so it started cooking the ship and they stopped broadcasting. Then the FCC ended the station forever. You can hear a Phillies baseball game in the background from another station. 9-19-73
I sometimes listened to Dr. McIntyre who did not care for Catholics very much , and I happen to be one . I thought he was unfairly persecuted however .
