RC controlled amphibious vehicle. Filmed at Lake Hallwil, Switzerland.

The model is originally from Multiplex about 30 or 40 years ago! I got the half built kit from a friend who had the kit for years in his cellar. As of its age the complete hull was rebuilt from ABS and partially carbon. At this occasion a have altered the look a little bit to emphaze the frog in its design. This model is not for sale anymore for decades and also my model is not for sale. It is such an oddity in todays model scene that one should just keep it ;-).

  • a boat or not it is friking ugly :)

  • @rikkertTCA You'd better be careful with such comments! The next time a tree frog spots you it will dreadfully croak at you. ;-)

  • You should put some scale drivers in there

  • @mestarinico1999

Well, of course you are right. Especially since I produce decor figurines for model boats (you might see my webpage address when looking up my channel here on YT). Anyway there is no room for the legs, so it would be a 'half' figurine. One day I will do it but first I want to satisfy the various wishes from my customers. Then maybe I gonna find the time to decorate my frog too (there will be a video by then, promissed ;) )

  • u got a head light out ..........lmao

  • @rollinwillingham

Ha! I was wondering how long it will take for this comment ;) I made the angle of the head lights slightly different so when looking not completely straight from front, it looks like the frog winks with the eyes.

This effect actually works only on daylight.

I like your idea but I fear the local animal rights activist blaming me for abusing a frog as NASA staff.

  • @Vital1nfo

Oh, that's not a big deal. Then I call my friend who's having an RC fly. As soon as my frog spots the fly it will come back even without battery ;-).
