@bighustle i always loved the drawing of spot the dog. the parody was hilarious too and i dont think many fans took it seriously and thought it was a real life reflection of Arn Anderson. The fans knew those guys were a bunch of oafs. So in that regard, I think AA and a lot of the old timers who got upset over the skit overreacted a bit.

This really was funny when it aired. On a personal level they were kind of kicking Arn Anderson while he was down. But for business it was great. Buff kept tossing the towel over his back and catching it like Curt Hennig (lol) and Nash was too much. If this was In the WWE I don't think the whole issue of "respect" would've been focused on like Flair and Anderson kept referring to in response to this. I heard Nash say that after it was over they initially were fine with it. Arn drinks beer, lots.
