umpires said too many people were threatening to give up ASA if they couldnt use their USSSA bats. So they are ASA sanctioned tourneys with NSA rules basically allowing all u-trip bats. I guess if enough red necks whine enough in SC anything goes. funny thing though usually a 0 homerun division and a 4 homerun div. most guys at these tourneys have at least 2 bats or more in their bags. so whats the big deal? most guys who can hit over 300 ft can do it with ASA bats too.
