ruse simply didnt get the attention it deserved. May have been simplified strategy but it was more fun than some of those hardcore strategy games that are as interesting as watching paint dry

Hey Joe, just picked up this game, partially because of your review. I actually bought two and sent one to an old HS friend who is a re enactor and WW2 buff. We're gonna play by phone or post. Keep the reviews coming and Cheers!

Lock 'n load is a perfect entry level hex based wargame. It's easy to get into, flexible and very fun. I have only played forgotten heroes of the Vietnam war, but i loved it. Hopefully my local gamestores will import the more recent ones (although I sadly find it unlikely).
