  • Nope ill never do this again. last time they did it, the new guy forgot to secure the straps and it drove into the wall when the speed gauge said 120mph :((((

  • @fires030

    Ouch...

That should never happen. But "the new guy" explains a lot... Still, sorry to hear that. Terrible.

  • im sure im not telling you anything you dont already know but, throw some aftermarket heads on that bitch, a 347 is capable of so much more say like 500hp, very nice car though beautiful

Hey thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it. Yeah, I'll get around to adding some aftermarket heads one of these days. Honestly at this point in my life, I've got two kids and too many toys and I just can't justify spending the cash on an upgrade like that right now. I'd love to but I barely ever get a chance to open it up as is, and there is plenty of power for my purposes so I'll just be leaving her be for awhile. Thanks again for the kind words.

    Cheers!

  • what size wheels?

  • U guys need to port heads and intakes and a heathy cam to make power. Tb needs to flow more then the and intake needs to flow more then the heads. Then a good tune and u should make over 400rwhp easy

  • @fires030 sounds like a lie to me, wheres your video? pictures?

  • Turn them headlights off, ur draining horse power on the dyno!

  • just to let ya guys know out there if ya's want a high horsepower high rpm motor never stroke it especially if it a 302 or 289 couse when these engine are not stroked they can easily rev 9 grand with the right heads and cam and intake combo, you cant rev a big cubic inch motor that high its only good for bottom end power in witch at the most youll get is 8000rpm witch means your car will just flatten out on the topend compared to a non stroked 289 or 302 witch wont itll keep making power.

  • nothing against this car or engine couse it is badass for a stroker with stock heads to make that power, but why stroke a 302 when you can just get a standerd 351w and not have to worry about stroking it and get the same power but better tourque i just dont understand it especially when the 351w is built better then the 302 especially the 69 through 74 blocks.

  • by the way, mine is injected and is running 610cc siemens injectors, might need bigger ones once blower is on...

  • hey man, nice vid.... i just finished my 302 - 347 stroker, afr heads 58cc , trick flowed intake, extractors, 9:1 compression... hi flow cats, and so on, guy that built it said it should make 450-475hp at flywheel, i hope so!!! not to mention my blower is going back on it too, its a v2 vortech with 12psi pulley...then he rekons around 550-580 at flywheel....these are rough estimates but lets see how we go, should be on road in few weeks, will put update or a vid
