terribly sorry mistake on colors below.. 'kon-iro' is actually closer to navy blue & not amber at all..must of mistaken it for 'kohaku-iro' which is literally the color of the amber stone/gem.. much like the color of the acooorn necklace kitsune always wears. fox are also easily associated to con-artists cuz of their cunning tactics as seen in fables, such as Pinocchio. kitsune-iro refers to the color of deep-fried tofu skin or 'abura-age' used in the sweet 'inari-sushi' & kitsune-udon noodles.

why fox, or kitsune 狐, cry 'kon'. first, imagin the fox itself havin a firey amber color in most seasons, known an 'kon-iro' in Japanese 紺色. foxes are very sacred animals in Japan & reside mostly on the northern plains..we have this picturesque image of them scampering about in the winter snow for grub. theres an old folk song 'yuki-ya-kon-kon' which is rural dialect for 'snow, come, come' other impossibilities include their calling voice literally sounding like 'cooon' or maybe they like korn.

@ 8:15 it sounds like Onsen Mark is saying "kon" like the fox...the sound of unrequited love, no doubt...

I like the Musical cadence at 1:26.

why can't ataru be like carrot glaze, both perverts but Carrot is a much better guy that goes out of his way to help others. if only...
-
this and the previous openings were kinda perverted/suggestive

I'm not really a big fan of this particular opening theme song. "Feel me, feel me" lol. At least it's funny.

I don't think that foxes make the sound "Kon"
Anyways, I feel sorry for Mr. Onsen
