Earthquakes take place in the world thousands of times a day. That is the difficulty for many people in the world. The land masses sit on a huge bed of magma, so pressures build up when land masses bump into each other and slip - the slipping being the earthquake. It has happened since the earth was formed.

The western United States sits on the "ring of fire" where plates collide and are always happening.

Normally I don't post any comments with vulgar language. But this one needs a response. If you've followed the website you know that there was great activity in the danger window she gave. Check out text at right. Plus there were 18 quakes in central California on Oct 1 and 37 quakes in same area October 3 and that was only by 9:30 AM PDT. Better not wish for a tsunami and be thankful activity to date has not created one.  She has told people to not let their guard down.

I live close to Mt. Shasta, about 20 minutes south of the Oregon border in CA. I am an earth shaker in a sense. The volcano near my home will also be part of this scenario. I am excited because of the change that is coming.
