for god sake! it's a basic chord structure, commonly used by MANY bands. yes these songs do share alot of similaraties, and there was alot of copywright controversy caused by it, but who says it wasn't pure accident? it's not exactly the un common chord arrangement .. i think these remixes are fantastic.

I tried to make this one somehow, but till now I've just added some of that extra songs. It doesn't sound close to this one at all, but it's really hard xD Kinda like it the way it is now. May add more..

@rickieingle101st I know what you meant. The vocals are in the same key as the guitar chords. That's why this one works so well. If you cut the vocals out of Holiday or American Eulogy and tried to put them over the guitar from American Idiot, it would sound awful because it would be mostly out of key.
