Video Shake Removal from a Digital Camera.

This video demonstrates a very effective, and free, computer program that removes video shake. The program is a free VirtualDub plugin called deshaker.vdf. VirtualDub.exe is a free, fast and very useful video capture/processing utility.

The 13 second source video is from a Canon SD200 3.2 MP digital camera taking 640x480 30fps MJPG AVI video, hand held, with telephoto. Taken 5 Sep 2009 3pm outside the University of Michigan Football Stadium.

VirtualDub and the deshaker plugin, with the default settings, were used to create a de-shaken video.

The original video and the de-shaken video were edited into a side-by-side video shown here. VirtualDub and dehaker are very impressive technology.
