@morthorse SEALs go in to execute the mission, PJs go in to rescue troops (especially) SEALs if they have a casualty, and are in a tight spot. There's no valid reason to say why either is better than the other. They have their reasons for being what they are. They have totally different mindsets/missions. I have both SEAL, and Pararescue friends. They respect each other for what they do, so we should stop being fanboys of whatever career field. It's all for the same country.

@blackandgold978 go to BUDs and then the 2 years of subsequent training and tell me that again... their both hard as fuck, their both badasses, but theres a reason SEALs are called on for the hardest shit

@TextBook2Piece both are needed, guns and carpet bombs. what happens when you have civvies in the area?

@TextBook2Piece im an enlisted person ad with out me and many others like me a/c wouldnt fly were called crew chiefs we fix the shit those pilots break
And the reason alot of people think officers are pompous asses is because alot of them act like just that. Or their spouses flash their rank around. I just had one of them do it to me 3 days ago haha silly trick. But so are alot of enlisted. You find ppl like that everywhere. We all just need to realize were each a cog in a big machine (US MILITARY, EVERY BRANCH) just get the job done the best you can and leave the flashing rank, I'm better than you, and all that BS at door.

@TextBook2Piece A long long time ago, pilots were enlisted. The Air Force came out with a rule that you had to have a commission to drop ordnance, to make sure everybody with that kind of power was well educated and responsible.
