this is not pointless at all. Fenriz is citing a poem by a Norwegian writer named Tarjei Vesaas who actually was nominated for the nobel prize of literature in the 50's or the 60's--not quite sure..

@cometothesabbat and something last about all this Nazi idiotic thing that start from my comment back then,1 person did what he did in Norway and now everything we say that has to do with words like "nation" or "country" or "white" is racist? are you kidding me?People live with racism in all over the world since the begging of time. @cometothesabbat well its good to hear that you are back on bm, well whatever the black metal nowdays can be. It has change alot since this record came out, and yes for me that period was one ,or even the best period for bm. But still i dont think that good albums arent coming out nowdays. I just believe its more hard to find them inside of all this shit that called black metal , Im not a fun of the "new " black metal but as i said some albums are really really good.

@faustios It's true, I remember that well. It actually terrified me. I was 14 or 15 and I thought "is this what it's all leading up to?" It (along with Burzum's outspoken racism and the general bm trend becoming more nationalistic and pompous) lead me to move away from bm for some years 1996-2002 where I would only listen to A Blaze In The Northern Sky once a year, to remember, but thankfully I once again found the black light, and it shines darker than ever.
