My Eyes have gotten a lot bigger sins been diagnosed with graves disease

Did it start just one day or over time?  If over time , how long? I started getting eye swelling a couple months ago and went away but I am having days where they hurt and swell a little. Does yours come and go or good days?

Just diagnosised last week.

for all you with graves, flax seed oil, and eat large amounds of honey with milk everyday and avoid any kinds of meats and eggs. I have GD caused by my thyroid now i feel much better my eyes dont hurt and look normal and my doctor tells me maybe in six month my disease will be gone forever, oh my God im so happy sense i have suffered from this 6 years, I have been so so very much scared. OBS!!!! dont do any surgery it will only make it worse prooved over 90%. sorry for my english im from denmark

@Skubishack Hey man, we all deal with our own demons, so I will not judge you of feeling that way. I have eyelid retraction in one of my eyes, so one looks much bigger than the other (probably Graves too). Having a very, very hard time with it emotionally too, and had some thoughts I'd rather I didn't. So I understand. I will say this though, if you have a wife and don't have to go through this alone, be good to her, and find solace in the fact that you have her to be there for you. Best wishes.

I've never been diagnosed with a thyroid condition, yet my eyes have continued to protrude (in my opinion)... I went for an eye exam yesterday and the doctor asked me if I've ever had my thyroid checked so if he noticed, I think it's time I go in for another check-up. I completely relate to what you are going through. I am so self-conscious about my appearance at this point, I never want to do anything social anymore. I'm at a point where I don't much feel being on this earth anymore.
