naw man, nocturnal spiders! sometimes when you're trying to discover a species, the only way is to go out at night.
many if not all spiders, like cats, have a reflective layer behind their retina to bounce missed photons back so they can capture as much light as possible at night. this is why their eyes glow at night, and some spiders are so small and hard to spot in the dark, you can only find them from the glow of their eyes from a flashlight's beam.
