The amp used for this recording was a Laney GH50L fed into a Cornford 1 X 12 cab loaded with a Celestion G75T speaker.
NO PEDALS at all!

I wish there was a band in my town that played this kinda music every week.. No clubs or bars here play nice melodic fusion whatever..Unless someone comes to town..No, just burn out country or hip hop, so digested dying out elsewhere. I seriously cannot get enough of Alex's playing. He's one of my favorite guitarists for a number of reasons. He doesn't seem cocky, he's not a showboat, and he doesn't just shred as much as possible. When he does shred, it still sounds so beautiful instead of just pure wankage. Let's not forget about his pinky control, either.

I have yet to hear a certain thing about him I haven't liked... and I mostly listen to brutal death metal and grindcore. That's saying a lot coming from me.
