What was the price for your conversion?

@MrAnjalis around 10,000 including batteries = 3 or 4 years of fuel.

@TakayaFreeman i spent about $2200 on some of the highest grade lead-acid batteries. they vary quite a bit. lithium is now comparable (3x cost but 3x cycle life)so i imagine i'll upgrade in 2012-13. plus by then they'll be even cheaper and better. lithium improve about 20%/year and drop in price similarly. : )

@TwostrokeSaab hello, yes it now as over 4300 gas-free miles. i'm now convinced this car can out-live me with it's rust-free body and electric motor. hope to put out another video soon. thanks for your comment!
