@xjmdm I already found the correct answer elsewhere and it unfortunately replaces the "plus" technology with the "HD" (1280x720) technology. But since then I've bought a galaxy note and i expect it will be some more time now until they can successfully combine the plus and HD technologys.

@IAmStobe Don't feel too bad, LTE and HD aside, the original S2 still gets the best performance, despite the lower clock speed. Plus, you can never own the best smartphone for long these days. Android phones get overshadowed within 6 months, always.
