Mark Knopfler - Don't You Get It (Solo)

A good song from Golden Heart album with weird lyrics but great music, and one of the best MK solo.
This is my version for this solo, played with my Les Paul Standard '00 on neck pickup.
I made a simple backtrack myself to play the solo.

nice pedals! and LP too, its got that woody, fat sound you come to expect from a Gibson LP... i have the DL4 and Mini Bicomp.. How are you finding the Mini Bicomp?

The Mini Bicomp. I use it only with single coils guitars. The Orange Squeezer size is perfect for early Dire Straits tone.

I use the Ross size to obtain a more fat sound with distorsion.

And I occasionnaly use the two sides together : watch my Another Brick In The wall video with the Telecaster.

Amazing! Just a question. There are any differences between your Les Paul and the other Les Pauls currently on commerce? Has your LP got tonal chambers?

Come to think of it, i read somewhere that Knopfler used an original Orange Squeezer in the early days. I think in front of the right amp the mini bicomp will sound great. cool, i'll check out your brick in the wall, a track i play too. cheers
