My God, man. You haven't even read the 1997 Act. How can you debate something or even have a position being so uninformed? This is typical of gun control advocates.

The 1997 Act will do nothing to stop another Dunblane incident. The gun bans, both in the UK and US, have done nothing to reduce gun related crime. Statistics show the opposite is true.

If you want to continue to support something while ignoring facts, and puts you at more risk, knock yourself out.

We, as citizens, should not be obligated to reported stolen property, it is our property, not the government's, and we do not work for the government. Instead of a law forcing us to report stolen guns within 48 hours, we should be rewarded for reporting them.

WOW, just when I thought I was seeing some common sense on the side of politicians, they voted and wow. It's like saying, now I know this is a complete waste of time and money, but lets do it any way cause we are morons.
