Near the summit of Mt. Royal in Frisco, Colorado

This is at 11,500 feet, just above the tree line. We confirmed that elevation with a GPS unit. It's apparently quite a bit higher than the trail we thought we were following was supposed to go.

But hey, the adventure is always more exciting when you follow the path less travelled. And look at that view.
